“Located in Erie, Pennsylvania, R. H. Rutkowski Insurance, Inc. was founded in 1968 by our grandfather, Robert “Spider” Rutkowski. We chose to continue the family business, not only for tradition and personal sentiment but more importantly, due to the outstanding reputation of Erie Insurance. Our parents, Trish and Harry Figurski took over the agency in 1995. Trish worked under our grandfather Robert H. Rutkowski for six years beginning in 1991 and Harry joined her after working for Erie Insurance after starting in 1983 as a personal lines underwriter.
I started in 2001 and my brother Patrick (Vice President) in 2004 learning the business under our parents. We are proud to say we are a third-generation family agency representing Erie Insurance Group. Our daily focus is to demonstrate the “Golden Rule” and practice ERIE’s philosophy. H.O.
