Our parents, Trish and Harry Figurski took over the agency in 1995. Trish worked under our grandfather Robert H. Rutkowski for six years beginning in 1991 and Harry joined her after working for Erie Insurance after starting in 1983 as a personal lines underwriter. I started in 2001 and my brother Patrick (Vice President) in 2004 learning the business under our parents.
